Typically, it’s impossible to approach Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express directly. Instead, you need to set up your account through a payment processing company such as LexCharge which, in turn, serves as the conduit to the credit card companies.
If you want to open up a merchant account through LexCharge or consider switching from another processor to LexCharge, first you’ll have to fill out an application. We will ask for some information such as your bank account information, your DBA name, and your bank routing information. It’ll just take a few minutes to fill out the application, and you should be approved within a day or two. In other words, you could be ready to accept credit cards as soon as the very next day.
